Discover the brilliant architecture of the colonial Santo Domingo filled with history around every corner and gorgeous, natural landscapes.
Famous for being the oldest city in the Americas, it was founded in 1496 by Bartholomew Columbus, brother to Christopher Columbus who started the history of the New World as we know it today.
During the trip, we’ll visit modern Santo Domingo, the Presidential Palace, the Colonial City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Cathedral of Santa María la Menor, the oldest cathedral in the Americas, the National Pantheon, and the stunning Tres Ojos Cave, home to three underground lakes surrounded by lush gardens.
